Job Description
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The school is looking for an experienced taxation academic to lead its taxation teaching and research. We are looking for someone who can undertake high quality research and research-informed teaching in taxation law. You must be able to mentor other taxation academics and work collaboratively with them to design and deliver a high quality teaching programme that caters to the requirements of both the University’s graduate profile and the accounting profession.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) permanent position.
Remuneration: $120,752 - $157,822 depending on the level of appointment.

The Department of Commercial Law is one of seven departments within the UABS. The department is organised in two disciplinary areas: Commercial Law and Taxation. The disciplines are taught across the programmes in the UABS, including undergraduate degree, postgraduate taught and research programmes, and PhD. The Department of Commercial Law also offers post-graduate programmes in Information Governance.

Teaching experience at undergraduate and post-graduate level is required.
