Frazer Barton re-elected as Law Society President

Frazer Barton has been re-elected as New Zealand Law Society Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa President for another 12 month term, the Law Society has confirmed today.

The Independent Review Report released today by the Law Society has recommended that legislative and structural change is required and recommended the establishment of a new independent regulator and an overhaul of the system for handling complaints about lawyers.
